Korčula is rich with vinyards and olive fields, of upmost quality and importance to the generations of the islanders.
Treasure of this island is the land and the sea, but also it's people, hospitable and proud. You can scent the mediterranean lifestyle just everywhere, and is inevitable in the rich tradition of Korcula's cuisine. Restaurants, konobas and agrotourisms, from Korcula on one, to Vela Luka on the other end will prove you that the slogan 'Medeiterraean as it once was is here totaly honest and true.
Cultural life is led separately in each village, so that you can find something interesting every evening. Well known are the fishermen's nights in all seaside villages where socialising between locals and tourists take place through food, drinks and songs.
If you are seeking night life, you can relax and have fun in bars and discos... or corners of a konoba with dalmatian songs performed by well known 'Klapa' singers.
